The Deluge is our ultralight, packable, waterproof/breathable rain layer. Stuff it in your backpack for day rides, or use it as a backup waterproof layer on longer ADV trips. It works on the bike or around camp, and neatly stashes in its own pocket for storage.
The Deluge is an excellent ‘Oh Sh*t’ jacket: as in ‘Oh Sh*t, I wasn’t expecting rain today!’ It packs small enough to live full-time in a backpack or tailbag; it’s so small and light that you’ll forget it’s even there until you need it. It has two hand pockets, a chest pocket, and a removable hood that fits comfortably under your helmet when the weather turns cold and wet.
What distinguishes the Deluge from the thousands of cheapo rain suits available in every sporting goods store? It’s all in the materials. The Deluge’s main body is an eVent Alpine 3-Layer fabric with direct-venting. It's rated at 20,000mm on the water column (67 feet of pressure), 20,000 g/m/d MVTR, and 0.1cfm air permeability. When you put it on, you’ll feel the difference.
The deluge rain gear is the second thing I have bought from mosko Moto, the first was their 40L duffel which I use on my 2012 bmw 1200 gs , it has been on the mid Atlantic BDR and numerous trips to the Allegheny national forest ATV trails and forest roads . The duffel works extremely well for overnight or multi night trips , I received the rain gear on December so I haven’t had a chance to get it wet yet but have no doubt that it will perform as advertised, the fit was spot on just use the guide to get the proper fit, I am 6 foot 1inch tall 240 pounds everything fit as it should under my riding jacket and over my riding pants can’t wait for spring to give you a better review
Great Product. I'm 5' 10" 175lbs. I bought the Deluge large jacket and pants. They fit over my body armor and knee braces with room to spare. Its how you want functional rain wear to fit. I dual sport tour on a WRR where packability is key. Keep up the good work Mosko Moto
I am preparing for my trip to Iran (which, hopefully, will take place in 2021, but COVID-19 might still be the Great Spoiler...). I'm planning to do this trip (starting in the Netherlands) in a mesh jacket, instead of my Gore-Tex jacket. Because of this, I need to layer up, including a waterproof outer layer should the weather Gods not be lenient on me.
After having done some 'Google research', I discovered Mosko Moto's apparel. I have been in contact with the Dutch / European Mosko Moto subsidiary to discuss my options, and I was advised to buy the Deluge jacket. I have tested it several times already, and it lives up to all my expectations! I really recommend it as the waterproof outer layer of choice!
I'm keeping it because I want to support Mosko.
This is meant to be lightweight and it is. I want pit zips, better cuffs and a hood that works. There isn't any adjustment on the hood, and its too big. It should be form fitting to get under a helmet. It's way too clunky and just doesn't fit a human head. Under a helmet, there's way too much fabric.
Cuffs are simple. Nice cut and a little elastic. They work, but seem unrefined.
Since they're modeling after Arc'teryx, just copy everything about the Beta AR and call it done. Love mine and other than the hood, it's perfect on a bike.
3.5 stars bumped to 4 and that's a stretch for me. I don't mind the price. We're getting a premium piece here, but it needs some refinement.
After some advise from Roel I rdered a Deluge Jacket.
Great quality, well designed. Work both over and under the Basilisk which is great since I will use it both ways pending conditions.
