We designed the Reckless 80L for minimalist off-road riding/camping, Backcountry Discovery Route exploration, and international fly-to-ride trips. The Reckless 80 doesn’t require side pannier racks, saving significant weight and cost. It expands and contracts to accommodate a wide variety of loads, making it an extraordinarily 'livable' luggage system.
The V3.0 ‘Revolver’ is the most versatile Reckless 80 yet. Adjustable leg angle makes it equally at home on enduros like the CRF450L or KTM 500, as it is on larger ADV bikes like the Africa Twin. From GSA’s to 150cc dualsports, the Reckless 80 is a bag that can do it all.
*KTM 690 and Husqvarna 701 customers, please note that the stock exhaust on your bike runs too hot, so aftermarket exhaust is required. See below for more information.
With the Reckless 80, we replicated the traditional three-bag organization and packing system of a touring bike (two side panniers and a rear duffle) for bikes that don't have pannier racks. If you're setting up a new bike, the Reckless system saves you the added weight and expense of metal side pannier racks.
It's 100% waterproof and easy to get into, so you don't have to unstrap everything to get at your lunch or pull out a jacket. The side bags slide & strap into an outer "holster," which stays attached to the bike. All three main compartments are welded-seam roll-top drybags for total waterproofness. The center top bag is our Stinger 22 drybag, which has stashable backpack straps, and works great as an airline carry-on or as a day pack for short hikes or trips to town. The side bags are interchangeable, and include a clear panel on the front so you can easily find your gear.
In addition to the three main compartments, the R80 Revolver now includes one optional 4L drybag 'aux pox' on the back of each leg (two total). These auxiliary pockets are perfect for storing smaller items that you might need quick access to throughout the day. The aux pox holsters can be used with or without their roll-top drybags, making them a great place for extra gas bottles, water, tool roll, or inner tubes.
Two overlapping rear beavertails create a perfect spot to tuck a motorcycle jacket when it's not in use, or to store wet things – like a tent rainfly, towel, or campsite garbage – that you don't want inside your drybag. The inside panels of the beavertails include a tent pole bag, a removable map pocket, and two reinforced clear pockets for small items like toothbrush/toothpaste. On V3.0, the entire beavertail assembly is removable, if you want to use the harness without a rear duffle, thereby reducing the total capacity to 50L (or 58L with 2 aux pox).
If you need more than 80L of space, adding additional storage is easy. The beavertail straps extend to accommodate a second (or larger) top bag. The outside of the beavertail includes a 3-column MOLLE webbing panel, and each leg includes a 2-column panel on the front, with a 3-column panel on the rear. Add Mosko MOLLE pouches, a Tracker 10, or choose from a wide array of 3rd party MOLLE accessories.
The R80 harness is a 3-piece system, which can be disassembled for an international fly-to-ride trip. The entire system fits conveniently in a rollaboard. If you have a crash on a long trip, the various components can be repaired or replaced individually, saving cost and hassle. A foam pad reduces chafe between the harness and the bike, and the harness is armored with hypalon for abrasion resistance. All R80 drybags are made from 800D polyurethane (PVC free), to stand up to UV and cold weather.

"You have to actually see this bag to fully appreciate the build quality and the cleverness that went into conceiving it. It's everything I ever wanted for long travels on trails. Soft but hard, light but heavy, this thing is a paradox made in motorcycle heaven. It is so practical, that it couldn't have been imagined by anybody other than true riders."
The best ever bit of kit i have got to my bike!! EV E R!!
Great bags, just what I was looking for. Lighter than my normal Mosko bags. Only on the Tenere 700 it's not easy to attach the backstraps.
After reading many positive reviews i decided to purchase this system for my trip down to Ushuaia Argentina starting from Los Angeles. It’s been 4 months since embarking on my trip and 9,000 miles traveled so now i will give my own personal experience using this system. The outer shell is bomb proof i have dropped my motorcycle 22 times and the the outer shell has held up just fine and the overall harness is incredible once you tighten it to the frame of your motorcycle it will not move. I did not end up using 22L stinger bag it was too small to accommodate my camping/photography equipment so i instead used an Osprey 80L bag in its place. I am disappointed in the design and build quality of the buckles that secure the tail bag one of the buckles broke my first month in Baja and the other broke last week when i was fastening my bag in Guatemala so now my Bag is barely hanging on. I do admit that it was partially my fault considering I’m using an 80L bag and not the 22L stinger bag that this system was designed for and i am rough with my equipment but i still believe the buckles should be stronger another issue i have with the buckles is that over rough terrain the straps that feed through the buckles will become loose so i have to keep dismounting to re-tighten them, I wish i would have brought my ROK straps along with me for this would help with the problem.
I do not like the design of the 25L dry bags and feel that Mosko motto made a mistake by placing a viewing window (I’m not sure what else to call it) on the bottom half of the dry bag for this created a weak spot in what could be a bomb proof dry bag. The seams around the viewing window have held up but material that makes up the viewing window is very pliable and will puncture easily if not carful like mine has but nothing duct tape cant fix. Overall i am happy with this purchase and doubt you will have any issues with this system unless you decided to put your gear through hell like me.
I haven't had a chance to test the bags in action yet, but the they seem amd feel really good. All latches and buckles are high quality and so is workmanship. Fairly easy to setup and put together. Perhaps one suggestion for improvement could be said: The t-nuts could be integrated in to the holsters from the factory, and they could be in all the possible positions. That way especially people with different size & style bikes could easily swap between say position 3 in a dual sport to position 1 in a touring or big adventure bike.
Hey, purchased reckless 80 from europe store and had it arrive within 2 weeks at home in Australia! Pretty snappy!,
The quality of the gear is absolutely second to none, you definitely get what you paid for with these guys! Highly recommended.
