it's not like i have a choice in shipping methods or much influence on the risks incurred. i'd just hide this in the standard prices. but what do i know about sales.
After 15 years of Harley on-road riding I made the switch to an Adventure bike and promptly headed out to Moab. Hard or soft panniers, OEM or aftermarket... researching the endless options on the YouTube.
I landed on the Backcountry 35L's (ordered from the EU website to make sure they arrived before my trip). To give it a 5 Star / A+ rating is not fair to other 5-Star products that might be pretty good. These panniers were so exceptional that every single aspect exceeded my needs. You can tell it was designed by people who use their own products. Cinch straps in the right places, quality hardware, sewn in Velcro straps to tie down the loose ends, easy-on / easy-off, and "Hellbent for Stout" fabric and beaver tails. I think these things will last a lot longer than my body can keep at this.
