Now even stronger! The Backcountry Cinch Straps are used to secure a rear duffle or pannier topper to your bike. This is our version of the ultimate cinch strap. There are no elastic or plastic parts to break/stretch on a long trip – just high-tensile polyfilament webbing, two metal cam buckles, and features you won’t find in any other strap.
*Sold in pairs
These two-piece straps quickly connect to the bike using lanyard loops, and they also have adjustable-length tails, so they'll work on everything from a large high capacity duffle to a small pannier topper. They include strap keepers, so your excess strap lengths won't flap around in the wind, and the buckles have a webbing backing to prevent damage to the bag/bike.
We designed these straps to function as an emergency tow strap if you have a breakdown (put the rear duffle on your back, worn as a backpack, and use the straps to tow) or an emergency tie-down system if you have to load your bike in the back of someone's truck in a pinch. Check out the product video to see how it works.
Have never experienced better customer service. Besides their outstandingly high quality products they produce from their clothing to their luggage…none better. But their customer service is what customer service should be. Long story but I ordered two Basilisk jackets in size Large and Extra Large. The large was a perfect fit but instead of returning (free of charge by the way) the extra large I mistakenly send back the Large instead. Donzi was my hero; he totally understood my mistake and without hesitation sent another Large jacket before receiving the one I had returned and authorized the return of the xtra large (again at no charge to me for shipping). Jen also has helped me with the patience of a saint.
Great service, fast delivery, always great to deal with
Use these straps to tie down my backcountry 30l duffel bag, and love them. So easy to use and so secure. Highly recommend. Double as tow ropes too!
The quality. versatility and strength of this bag is Amazing! Love it!
I got the cel phone pouch because of my friend’s recommendation - I have a Quadlock with vibration dampener but offroad rides make me nervous that I’ll break my cel’s camera. The Molle system is super convenient!
Loved the stickers too :)
