Everything is back in stock! Last week we started receiving containers at the warehouse, opening boxes, assembling hardware packs, and QCing inventory. In all we received 4 containers and everything looks great. This shipment represents our combined life savings plus some loans on top of that, so it’s a relief to have it all received and safely nested at the warehouse.
We’re expecting a short-term bottleneck on order processing, emails, and phone messages over the next few weeks. If your order is urgent – i.e. you have a trip planned coming up shortly and you need your bag in time – please place your order on our website and then immediately email Tiffany and put “ASAP” in the subject line. If you want to pick up your order in person in Portland rather than waiting for it to be shipped, please email Tiffany before placing the order, and put “ASAP – WILL CALL” in the subject line. Her address is: tiffanyl(at)moskomoto(dot)com. We will do our absolute best to handle these special processing requests.

Opening up one of the first containers.
It was kind of trippy to see what 4 containers worth of bags looks like. Man, it’s a lot of bags. The boxes stacked in the middle of the aisle below represent about two-thirds of one container.
Assembling the first Reckless 80, which I’ll be using on a trip this weekend.
Molle pouches
Backcountry Cinch Strap
Backcountry Duffles
Stinger Tailbags
One small issue on the new R80: the rear attachment straps were in the wrong locations on the metal bar. We had to open them up and change the straps to the correct position. Minor issue, easily fixed. This is how they looked out of the box:
And this is how they looked after the fix (the black straps on the blue bar):
It took 4 people working for about a day to fix them all.
We also got our wedge & frame assembly line going, adding logo plates & latches.
Dan Wilson is on his way to Alaska. He & his buddy stopped by the shop to say hi.
Also last week the annual Black Dog Dualsport ride took place here in the Gorge. It was a great event as always, although particularly hot this year, with temps near 100 degrees. We brought a cooler full of cold beer and soda with us and handed them out to riders as they crossed the finish line.
Finally got my hands on a print copy of the article about Mosko in the most recent ADVMoto magazine. Big thanks to Spencer Hill aka ‘The Gear Dude’ for writing and submitting this piece, and thanks to ADVMoto for publishing it!
Lee, Ashley & I spent Memorial Day weekend on the Alvord Desert. We were also joined by Greg Hilchey from PSSOR & Lindsey Bauer, who are about to leave for an extended RTW trip. The Alvord is a magical place. This pic kinda’ says it all.
Can’t wait to camp out of my brand new Reckless 80 V2.0 this weekend in central Oregon!
