I like the pouches as they’re nice and roomy and seem quite rain proof.
I did not have the waist strap for my Wildcat 12L, but did want to use them on my trip, so I’ve attached them to the chest belt and used the upper clip (meant for the ape cat) and found it to still be comfortable in use. Wind sometimes catches under them during the highway, so they kind of wave outwards a little, but nevertheless remain firmly in place. Perfect for things like snacks, keys, wallets and toll booth tickets during a ride or quick stops.

These hip pouches revolutionized the Wildcat backpack. I love the comfort of the Wildcat and always have. Now with the pouches this backpack has reached perfection. I can have so many things handy, like visor cleaner, cables for my phone charging system, a granola bar etc.

I was afraid that the pouches would be in the way when on more technical terrain but they are totally not. They are 100% an improvement and as I recently started to Motocamp of my 350 the it added volume of things I could carry which made a difference. I am Obsessed!

Love it, you can use it with a backpack or just easy put it through your belt, used it at worksite.
