The Strata Merino Quarter Zip Thermal Top is a hardy travel companion.Lightweight, incredibly comfortable, and naturally anti-microbial make it a great choice for wearing day in and day out. Made fromNuyarn®,a durable blend of twist-free Merino wool and nylon provides a next-to-skin or layering option for both on and off-bike use. Casually styled with a hoodie pocket, quarter-zip stand collar, and removable hood. This versatile piece works as great layering up for a cold night in your tent as it does layered under armor.

DESIGN

Understated and simple, the Strata Quarter Zip Thermal Top is a travel oriented base layer focused on riding as well as the moments in between. Open up the quarter zip to provide some added ventilation, while fully zipped, the stand collar seals nicely around your neck for additional warmth. Add the removable hood at camp or stash it for the day’s ride. Reinforced thumb loops help to keep the sleeves in place when layering over or under armor. With the combination of technical features and casual styling, this versatile piece is sure to become a close travel companion.

The Strata Merino Quarter Zip Thermal Top is constructed using Nuyarn® technology, a lightweight, incredibly comfortable, and durable blend of Merino wool and nylon. By removing the twist of the yarns and drafting the fibers over a nylon core, Nuyarn® has produced a fabric with higher stretch and recovery, better moisture management, greater warmth and increased durability than traditional Merinos. It culminates to an itch-free, moisture wicking, and naturally odor resistant material to take the edge off in cool conditions.

Well designed Hoodie

It`s nothing more than a thin hoodie top but it fulfills its purpose especially for us riders.
It`s warm, very light, comfortable, and doesn`t need a lot of space when it`s packed. The merino material mix feels pleasant on the skin, the design is "timeless" and the thumb loops are really usefull.
The half front zipper makes it easy for me to put the Strat on. I`m shure that`s much better than to fiddle around with a full-length zipper.
Especially the hood is something I really like.
In warm weather, for going out on to town or at work I often remove the zippered hood- that gives it a more elegant style.
While driving in rather cold temperatures I`m wearing the Strata Top with the connected hood under my helmet, a good protection against wind and cold temperatures.
However the hood does not replace a special motocycle storm mask or balaclava for really grim temperatures but it`s fine for many cases.
The large side pockets are good to keep my hands warm.
I used the Strata Top as my only baselayer during long extended trips in all kinds of weather not only while driving but also at the campfire and while going out.
I already own three of these, got them all in different colors.

The amount of offered sizes is rather limited- that`s a sensitive issue with MM apparel as with most of the competitors on the market.
I`m 6.4 inches tall with a weight of 190 pounds. But since the span of my outspread arms are rather unusual 6.6 inches (200cm), I always have the problems with the arms on jackets and shirts beeing to short.
Not in this case- the Strata Merino Top in size XL fits me perfectly even regarding the arm length.
It pairs well with my Mosko Moto Strata Merino Zip-off Thermal which I also used a lot on my trips.
My props to the Team for the Strato Merino Top- they`ve done a good job in the developing department.
I can recommend the Strato Merino Top and Mosko Moto as a company in generell.

Strata Merino Quarter Zip Thermal Top and Bottoms

Another great product from Mosko Moto. Great quality and comfortable. Being able to unzip the lower half and remove with out removing your boots is a game changer.

Terrific base layer

I have used a Devold Baselayer for the colder months. But as it starting to fall apart I was looking for a successor. I always had the problem with the Devold that when it gets too warm, I can't take it off easily without taking the boots etc. off. So this is great. Also it's not bulky and very comfortable. The size is true to size. Looking forward to taking it on my next trip coming december to Morocco.
