I purchased it, because the bike looks better w/o the big plastic plates that you need for the earlier bags. The plates are definetly better when you fall w/o the bags, because they will take the hit and all the abuse not the nice fancy steel frame. But if the bags are not there, the bike definitely looks better with euromount. Now about the steel plates themselves. I forgot to make pictures during installation, but the right side was a perfect fit, however the left was too tight at the lever, meaning the lock shaft/nut was slightly ~ 1-2mm forward, and when locked, it forced to bend the steel plate at the lock a little towards the outside and was hard to push down the leaver. I had to file down from the plastic to have a perfect fit, since the nut is welded on, so that's a disappointment, that's wy I give 4 stars. Also it is nice that you can lock it to the bike, however you have to have an extra set of keys, and since these new bikes have remote keys, I have to have the keys close to my hands and use them, vs the plate ones, where you could live w/o keys. Also the old flat plastic plates were easier to manage going in/out to hotels. So it is fancy, and easier to mount from the box, then making some holder to the old plastic plate at the exhaust side.

Fermeture de blocage peut-être un peu frêle, à voir dans la durée...
La partie triangulaire de déport au dessus de l'échappement pourrait être fermée pour rangement d'outils ou autres bagages...
Sinon le produit est de bonne facture. Et maintenant, que faire des anciens supports? ...

Love the build quality, functionality and ease of use of this new product. I had the GL quick release plates on the bags but these surpass those in every way. Well worth it.

Prezzo forse un po alto, ma la qualità dei materiali indiscutibile. Comodo che finalmente quando stacco le borse dalla moto non ho piu le piastre fisse. Se avete telaietti originali bmw super consigliato. MOSKO resta il miglior marchio.

I ordered the Euromount adapters to replace the original mounting wedges so that I can switch more quickly between the BMW aluminum cases and the MoskoMoto panniers. I pre-ordered on August 6th with delivery scheduled for end of August. It took a little longer than expected, but the Euromounts finally arrived today, and I unpacked and fitted them straight away. They are excellently made. Very precise fit. Completely easy to attach to the panniers. Hardly more than 10 minutes per pannier to remove 6 screws from each and replace them with 6 new screws with a bit of Loctite and a washer. The fit to the racks on my R1250 GS Adventure is perfect, too. Changing from aluminum cases to MoskoMoto panniers is now child's play. The only thing that could be improved, and this is complaining at an extremely high level, BMW locks would be nice and would enable the use of the Ignition key. Otherwise, I don't see anything that could have been done better. It doesn’t make sense to have mounting wedges screwed on the rack, when you can have Euromount adapters on your panniers.
