    The Compact ADV Lock is the easy-carry solution for quick stops - leave your bags on the bike while you pop in for lunch or groceries. This unique cable lock cinches down tight, so it will also stay in place while riding, and keep out prying hands at border crossings, stoplights, etc.


    The 5mm cable is so compact that you can easily travel with a set, and not even notice you have them. It fits neatly in the lock-pocket of your Backcountry bag, or in a MOLLE pouch, tank bag, or other small pocket. Plus it’s a programmable combo lock, so forget the stress of fumbling for keys, too!

    DESIGN

    The unique cinch-able cable tightens around the outside of your bag, securing the roll-top and making installation easy, no matter how much (or little) you packed. It also seamlessly integrates with the locking bar found on our Backcountry series bags, a feature that makes it impossible for someone to yank the cable off the roll-top and gain access to your stuff. The bag is also simultaneously locked to the bike, when you pass the lock through your rack, grab handle, or bike frame.

    Our ADV locks are made from cut-resistant steel cable, with a bright blue PVC coating for visibility and corrosion resistance. Although the Compact ADV Lock won’t stand up to a determined thief, visible deterrents are very effective against snatch-and-grab theft.

    Quality lock

    Compact, lightweight and versatile. No lock will beat a determined thief but this lock and cable work well securing my Dry Pack luggage onto tail rack. Going to buy another.

    Good idea, lock not great

    Big Mosko fan here. I have 2 tank bags, panniers, BC duffle and purchased 2 of these locks to secure everything. Idea behind the lock is great. The locks did not come with instructions to set the code and its not that intuitive. After a web search found out how to set the lock code, but no video or instructions on the MM website that I could find. Got the codes set and the switch for the lock mechanism is a pain. Have to push excessively hard to get the lock to lock. To the point where I thought I was going to break the little locking lever. I am going to keep them and hopefully over time the locking lever will loosen up. Maybe this is just a bad batch but these are the only MM products I have ever been disappointed in. Would not be to hard to print up locking instructions and include with the locks or a QR code to a set up video on the website. Not sure how to solve the lock lever issue other than better quality control.

    Reliable and Effective

    This lock does exactly what it's supposed to do: prevent someone from easily removing or opening my bags. I’m very satisfied with it and feel much more secure when leaving my bike unattended.

    What I was looking for

    The ADV Lock is exactly what I was looking for when travelling in challanging countries. Allows me to properly secure my Panniers
