The Strata Merino Zip-off Thermal Bottom is the long john you never knew you needed. It brings a new era of innovation to your ADV layering kit.Full-length separating side zips allow you to easily de-layer without removing your boots or pants. No more sacrificing comfort for convenience. No more dancing out of your pants when things heat up. Just drop your trousers and unzip the base layer to remove them trailside. So quick and easy you might even be able to get them off (or on) before your buddies catch up.

DESIGN

Temperatures can swing wildly on any adventure. Cold mornings turn into hot days on trail. And hot days turn quickly into cold nights when the sun ducks out of sight. Adding or removing a layer in these situations is a no-brainer, but who wants to stop the ride to pull off your boots, dance out of your pants, and adjust your layers. All too often we sacrifice comfort to avoid these tedious moments. The Strata Merino Zip-off Thermal Bottom’s full-length leg zippers, over armor fit, and above the boot design allow you to quickly and easily shed or add layers without removing your boots and outer pant.

The Strata Merino Zip-off Thermal Bottom is constructed using Nuyarn® technology, a lightweight, incredibly comfortable, and durable blend of Merino wool and nylon. By removing the twist of the yarns and drafting the fibers over a nylon core, Nuyarn® has produced a fabric with higher stretch and recovery, better moisture management, greater warmth, and increased durability than traditional Merinos. It culminates to an itch-free, moisture-wicking, and naturally odor-resistant material to take the edge off in cool conditions.

Strata Merino Zip-Off Thermal Bottom

Multi use only 150 gram for a medium

These were my only camp pants on a week long trip in Saudi Arabia, they were comfy at camp and also worked on cold mornings under my vented riding pants . They are also very light and have a small pack size. The best feature offcourse is being able to take them off without taking off your boots and knee armor.

Fantastic base layer under pants

Recently been riding at high elevation in Colorado using these pants and they are everything you want in a base layer for a dirt / adv bike rider. Super soft, no bulk in boots , ability to strip them off without taking off boots or outer pants , plenty of room in knees for knee guards. 10/10 simple as that. Bravo Mosko, you have done it again.

Nifty Knickers

Very convenient to be able to add or subtract a layer on the legs without removing overpants or boots.

Must have piece!!
