Thank you so much Mosko ! Love my Rak . I tested it in switzerland by temperatures under freezing point: perfect , exactly as I expected, following the principle of layering. Looking cool , love the colours, very visible in poor light conditions. I’ll send you pictures as soon as possible. I allready visited my usual clothes dealer witth my rak pull-over to show him what Mosko is about. He was impressed . ( My advice was: He should forget about Klim . Hope he will listen to me) See you soon and Thank you for your impressive work. Best regards , Alexandre

Rak Pullover for Trail Riding

The quality is great and the jacket is rugged, especially in comparison to many waterproof outer layers designed for the sport. I have now had the chance to wear it single track riding in the cold, snow, and 37 degree rain for hours on end. With an extra warmth layer underneath I was able to stay warm and comfortable riding for several hours at 27 degrees. In the snow I was also warm and dry. For my 5 hour ride in the constant rain and 37 degree temp I was able to stay dry and comfortable with just an additional warmth layer. For the type of riding I typically do I prefer my kit to be more compact, but there are always trade-offs... As far as being packable, it's a bit bulkier than I would want in most situations, but it's still workable. Due to it's heft it won't fit in my smaller trail backpack, it would be nice if it had webbing loops sewn into it so it could be rolled up and fastened to the exterior of my pack. I have a hunch it will be too warm in the rainy warmer months. I wish it had at least one more vent, perhaps another two way zipper on the opposite side of the current one? When I returned home from my rainy day ride I let it air dry in the gargage. The shell fabric really held the water so it took longer than expected to fully dry out, reminder - I did stay dry when wearing it. The last thing, I found it odd that the front pouch pocket didn't come with a zipper pull like all the other zippers on the jacket. I had to add one that I bought at my local outdoor store, it makes it much easier to open the zipper with gloves on.

Less is More!

I use it on my adv bike for those chill mornings on warm trips (full mesh or enduro clothes, so I need a separate windproof or waterproof layer) or when the rain starts to fall, but also on my light trials bike an even on a hike if rain or thick fog appear, that is how versatile it is.

Simple, durable, 100% waterproof (remember to fully close your front zip if it's raining hard!), and attention to detail, easy to fold and securely strap on the bike when not in use, I simply love it!

Rak Pullover works as advertised for the Pacific Northwest inclement weather.

I had chance to test my new Rak Pullover riding my Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer in December from Vancouver, WA to Newport, OR and back in inclement weather. The temperature ranged from 36 - 42 F and with off-and-on rain showers during the three hour ride each way. The Rak brushed the wind and rain away with ease while keeping my neck, arms and core dry and protected. I wore layers under the Rak to keep me warm and protected in case of an accident.. Only me hands felt the cold towards the end of the non-stop rides. The Rak Pullover is money well spent! I am 6" 1", 195 lbs with broad shoulders, i.e., athletic build. Putting on the size large Rak Pullover over the layers was not as easy as putting on a zippered coat but once on it was comfortable. It breathed well and performed better than Gore-Tex.

Size Guide >

The Rak - which comes from ‘Anorak’ - is the ultimate in simplicity. It keeps you dry in all-day driving rain; it packs away small when it’s not in use, and it’s built to last.

The Rak Pullover gets redesigned for 2022/23 while still representing our “less is more” approach to ADV rain protection. Fewer places for water to get in, less to break, less to go wrong, and therefore more functional. The result is a lighter, nimbler, and more breathable shell that gains several new improvements over the previous version.

The updated Rak Pullover retains its light, durable, waterproof 3-layer outer construction and ‘too simple to fail’ ethos, but gains some additional functionality. The Rak’s pullover anorak-style entry with quarter zip design gets even longer, making it easier to get on and off. We also added a removable hood to be more versatile around camp in adverse weather. Another gain - two Velcro adjustable Anti-Flap Control Tabs at the midsection to reduce flapping and billowing when traveling at higher speeds, plus adjustable cuffs and Cohaesive® embedded cord locks at the hem and collar to help seal out the weather. We also reconsidered the pocketing: two hand pockets, one chest pocket, and a new large front kangaroo stash pocket. The 3L eVent waterproof breathable material keeps you dry and comfortable with air-permeable Direct Venting™ technology.

The Rak Pullover gets even more versatile with improved venting options. A two-way zipper on the side access can be zipped down allowing heat to escape. Unzip the center front and snap it open for enhanced airflow. Or for the ultimate in airflow and venting, take off the Rak, roll it up, and stash it on the back of the bike. It packs small and features a lash loop on the upper back, so you can strap it directly to your bike or luggage when it’s not in use. The Rak celebrates simplicity and weather protection while preserving the core functionality needed on and off the bike.

Ethically Produced in Bangladesh.
