On the positive side, it’s easy to use. It’s waterproof but NOT dust proof. It’s smaller than it appears on pics.

In my case, it sits too high on the tank, and seems to be always in the way. When you open the lid, it’s restricted by the phone mount on the handle bar so it’s cumbersome to access inner pocket on the lid.

The worst for me is the attachment design. The Velcro and clip system is akward at best, a pain to install/remove. If you fall, the clips come open. The extra cord in the front has no solution to trim so you always end up knotting with the risk of unclipping the system. If you need to take the bag with you, it’s better to take all items inside than dissembling the bag. When refueling, also a pain. I will be returning this item.

Actually is what a tank bag supposed to do, is 100% waterproof, a lot of space for all the necessary stuff, premium quality material and really convenient the way you put it on and off the bike and also the way it opens and it closes with one clip. What I would like to see as a feature is a way to take it with you like a bag or carry it with a handle but those are extras

The new Onyx/Orange color variant of the Hood 5 Tankbag is not only eye-catching but also exudes a sense of adventure. The orange pairs perfectly with a wide range of motorcycles, not just KTMs. The quality of the craftsmanship is outstanding, as you'd expect from Mosko Moto. The tankbag is incredibly durable and thoughtfully designed. Even after a fall, only minimal damage occurred, and I was able to rely on the excellent customer service, who promptly provided a solution for the broken plastic clip.

Installing the tankbag on my Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports 1100L was a breeze and very intuitive. The Hood 5 offers more than enough storage space for my travels. Two separate, zippered compartments provide room for small items like memory cards and vehicle documents. On top of that, my drone (DJI Mavic Mini) and its accessories fit perfectly inside.

One of the standout features is how easy it is to access the bag while riding. You can open and close the bag without taking your eyes off the road, thanks to the simple closure system. Another major highlight is the waterproofing, which performed flawlessly even in heavy rain. The design, which doesn't rely on a zipper for the main compartment, is brilliant as it prevents dirt from jamming the closure.

The bag stays firmly in place, even in rough conditions. After refueling, you might need to adjust the bag slightly forward to re-secure it properly, depending on how tightly it's strapped down. For adventure rides, whether short or long, this tankbag is a clear recommendation. For riders tackling very technical off-road terrain, it may feel a bit bulky when standing up, but for my tours through Southern Europe and Turkey, it was ideal.

One potential improvement would be adding an anti-theft feature, such as a small metal band, to prevent opportunistic thefts. Currently, there are two holes in the bag that allow you to secure the contents with a lock, which is a great feature. Overall, I am more than satisfied and would purchase this tankbag again without hesitation.

I did not have suitable tankbag for my old GS. After much googling and youtubing I decided to get the Hood.
It proved to perfectly sized and packed with needed features.
It´s waterproof, really it is. No separate rainfly needed.
Operatable one handed.
Has volume to fit pack of ciggies, pocket light, wallet, phone charger, roll of toilet paper, hand sanitizer, knife, sun glasses, tire pressure meter and still room to for some other small items.
Top notch product, this experience has made me look at other luggage items on Moskos portfolio, thinking of ditching the aluminium boxes....

The most important thing is that it’s waterproof! Very useful tank bag!
