Backcountry Cinch Straps

The Backcountry Cinch Straps are used to secure a rear duffle or pannier topper to your bike. This is our version of the ultimate cinch strap. There are no elastic or plastic parts to break/stretch on a long trip – just high-tensile polyfilament webbing, two metal cam buckles, and features you won’t find in any other strap. Can double as a tow / rescue strap.

*Priced and sold as a pair

DESIGN

These two-piece straps quickly connect to the bike using lanyard loops, and they also have adjustable-length tails, so they'll work on everything from a large high capacity duffle to a small pannier topper. They include strap keepers, so your excess strap lengths won't flap around in the wind, and the buckles have a webbing backing to prevent damage to the bag/bike.

We designed these straps to function as an emergency tow strap if you have a breakdown (put the rear duffle on your back, worn as a backpack, and use the straps to tow) or an emergency tie-down system if you have to load your bike in the back of someone's truck in a pinch. Check out the product video to see how it works.

Great addition - Secure tie down

The cinch straps are just absolutely versatile and easy to use. Not only for tying down bags but also tires and all kind of stuf on your bike. I got a pair of them and didn't have to mess with them during a 1,800 mile trip from Houston to New York. They stayed as I tied down for the entire trip with no issues or loosening. Very recommended addition for your luggage setup.

Hey Alberto,
So glad to hear you're loving the versatility of the cinch straps!
Cheers,
The Mosko Crew

Had to order a second set of Backcountry Cinch Straps..

..because I used one of the straps from my first set to extend the reach of a z-drag system in order to winch my bike out of a ravine on the MABDR (Mid-Atlantic Backcountry Discovery Route).

I was so happy to be free I rode off without it. I must say, I will happily go back for it if someone sponsors the trip. Fully documented as well.. just saying. :)

"Basic" Cinch Straps

Got some basic tie straps and DAMN, they are not just straps. They work for everything and I'll be buying more. Should have just got 3 pair out of the gate.

Very good Strap

Very durable and flexible strap. Good build and good design. It can handle anything that you want to pack on your bike. In fact this is the best straps I've ever used. I and my friend ordered 2 pack of this together and we still haven't regret any cents we paid for this, except we're from Vietnam and we have to ship this "made in Vietnam" strap back to Vietnam lol (finding this very funny after unpacking the shipment, really)

Backcountry Cinch Straps

I recently had an opportunity to use the Mosko Moto Backcountry Cinch Straps. These are very well made, sturdy, and doesn’t slip when pinched down. There is no plastic on these and they have very helpful/useful velcro type strap keepers so the loos ends of the straps don’t flutter around in the wind. I’m glad I got these when I ordered my 30L duffle.
