DESIGN

The Gnome stores your trail bars, wallet, phone, tools, and water, all while having a small footprint on your motorcycle. Keep your more valuable documents in the interior stealth passport pocket while utilizing the exterior quick-stash earplug / knife / everyday-carry pocket, and fleece-lined sunglass pocket for easy access. The included stashable rain cover features a welded-seam top panel and sealed seams on the side to keep all your belongings dry even in a heavy downpour.

The MOLLE attachment panel on the top of the bag allows the fastening of additional accessories. Clip on your Garmin inReach, Spot, or our Navigator Cell Phone Pocket to dampen the phone killing vibrations while having direct sight of the navigation for the route ahead. The internal fleece-lined pockets and elastic loops will securely hold your phone and other necessities while on the move.

The main body material is a durable 630D high-density 100% recycled nylon with a water-repellent finish. This recycled material is fully traceable and Control Union Certified in the Netherlands to Global Recycling Standards.

Gnome Tank Bag on a R1300GS

Fits perfectly on the GS. Like the small design of the tank bag, doesn't disturb even on hard offroad sections but still enough space to carry all your important stuff.

Additionally the 1,5L water bladder, perfect. With the Gnome you don't need additional weight on your body, that's great.

Thanks Mosko for building great products :-)

Great small tank bag

Exactly what I was looking for, almost perfect. I wanted a small tank bag for my R1200GSA. Something which would hold my gloves, passport, booking details, mainly for going through customs or ferry / train terminals. I've used larger tank bags in the past, but I don't really need that much space and they get in the way.
My passport fits in the Gnome without any problems. My gloves don't fit, but I've attached a loop of elastic paracord to the molle webbing and that works great - I just strap the gloves down when I need to and it only takes a second.
I also purchased the Navigator Cell Phone Pocket, so I can use my phone for backup nav, but also because it comes with the molle velcro pad. I use a third party map pocket with velcro, instead of the cell pocket, so I can have paper booking details to hand (Enduristan Sandstorm 4X map pocket, sorry Mosko!) I did consider the Mosko map pocket, but it just looked a bit big for the Gnome. Also, the velcro backed pocket is easily removed - no need to unfeed the molle webbing, just rip it off and swap for the Cell Phone Pocket.
I was a bit apprehensive over the lack of waterproofing - but it turns out the rain cover is easy to fit and works great. Not sure about phone naviagtion through the rain cover, I think you'd struggle to see the screen very well. It would be great if there was 1 waterproof zip pocket for passport, toll tickets, etc., then I wouldn't need to worry so much about getting the rain cover on.
Also, I've found that even though the GSA has a pretty wide tank, the Gnome interferes with the handlebar controls a little. I've set it up so that it can't accidentally hit the kill switch, which would be a real pain on full right lock, but it does activate the auxiliary lights button on full left lock.
Finally, the water bladder - I thought I wouldn't use it, but I gave it a try, and it turns out to be great.
Oh, and the build quality really is absolutely first class.

Small Tank Bag

The hydration reservoir is not very usefully. It is in my opinion to small and takes to much space in this small Tank Bag. I prefer a hydration backpack.

Tank bag is great and the support was amazing. But I already unsubscribed from newsletters, and other ad stuff like this review request twice. I never opted into that stuff in the first place.
