The newly redesigned Scout 30L Duffle (was Scout 25L Duffle) is a single-layer, welded-seam, roll-top drybag - but not your average drybag. We went back to the drawing board and completely revamped the duffle, loading it with every moto-specific feature we could think of. It quickly converts to a comfortable backpack, or an over the shoulder duffle, the choice is yours. A key feature is the rugged and fully removable beavertail stash spot, complete with two reinforced mesh pockets and plenty of extra webbing for max expansion. The Scout 30 works great as a standalone tailbag, a travel bag, or a pannier topper on hard boxes. We recommend our Backcountry cinch straps to secure it to your bike!
The backpack straps come in handy if you break down and need to hike out, or when navigating an airport or border crossing on fly-to-ride trips. They're also helpful when you need to get all your gear to an upstairs hotel room in a single trip. If you're not using the backpack straps, they either stash flat in an external pocket or can be removed entirely and left at home.
The Scout 30 Duffle includes a unique beavertail with reinforced mesh zipper pockets on one side and 5 columns of Hypalon MOLLE webbing on the other, so you can expand and customize this bag with an assortment of optional MOLLE accessories like fuel bottle holders or a hydration sleeve. The beavertail also provides a convenient place to tuck a jacket during the day, or to store wet/dirty things like a rainfly, tarp, or towel.
The Scout 30 has side cinch strap pass-throughs (we recommend our Backcountry Cinch Strap) so you don't have to worry about your bag squeezing out to the side of the bike in bumpy terrain. The Scout also includes a comfortable, padded shoulder strap that stashes away under the beavertail or inside the bag when it's not in use and there are two easy-grab carry handles, one on each side of the bag.
The Scout Duffle also includes a 20L seam-sealed Drysak, so you can keep dirty/damp clothing, shoes, and other items separate from the rest of your clean/dry belongings.
Want to protect your Scout Duffle and gear from thieves? Add one of our Steelcore Locking Straps. The Scout Duffles (both sizes) require a single 4.5' strap. Mounting instructions can be found in this video.

"This bag is great! I use it as a tailbag on my 1090 on top of an AltRider Rear Luggage rack and it's a perfect fit! It's the perfect size to hold darn near everything I need for a ride into work or an overnighter into the forest. Super well built, dry (and that's important in the PNW) and as a bonus - it works great for a backrest when loaded up for my pillion! This bag checks all the boxes and then some. Get one!"
Very good quality. Expensive but worth the money. Quick dispatch.
I lost the stinger bag that goes with my Reckless 80 set up. I saw YouTube star Itchy Boots use the Scout 30 Liter in her reckless set up for a bit more space and decided to try the same. I love the scout bag. Like my other Mosko items, it is very well constructed and clearly designed by people who know what a motor cycle traveler needs. The scout duffel works great in the reckless beaver tail and also on its own when I am just going for a day ride. Thus far it has been very weathertight and it has good strap down points while still being easy to pull off the bike and carry around. If it serves me half as well and as long as my Gen 1 Reckless 80, I will be a happy moto camper.
I am not one to give out good reviews just because I spent a lot of money on something. If I spend some good money, I expect a good product. Sometimes you end up paying for a name. But I have to admit the Mosko stuff is a great product for the money. The Scout 30L Duffle is exactly what I needed; a very tough, waterproof duffle that I can take in all sorts of weather and never have to worry about wet gear. The Scout Duffle replaced a different waterproof duffle I had. I wanted something tougher, more waterproof. Mosko Moto delivered. Thanks Mosko.
Just completed the WABDR & IDBDR and used the scout 30. I really liked the bag because of the way you can attach the bag to the bike from the bottom of the duffle and the very useful "beaver tail". Before I had a std duffle bag and was always having to unstrap the duffle to access the bag. Now with the beaver tail I could put my grocery store purchases, wet items, etc. in the beaver tail and not have to stap/unstrap the bag to the bike. I stopped in a couple of car washes along the way and never removed the bag from the bike - no issues - everything in the bag stayed dry. Super easy bag to use never failed even after a couple of hard "get offs". The size of the bag is perfect, fits on the seat in-between my two soft panniers
