The newly redesigned Scout 30L Duffle (was Scout 25L Duffle) is a single-layer, welded-seam, roll-top drybag - but not your average drybag. We went back to the drawing board and completely revamped the duffle, loading it with every moto-specific feature we could think of. It quickly converts to a comfortable backpack, or an over the shoulder duffle, the choice is yours. A key feature is the rugged and fully removable beavertail stash spot, complete with two reinforced mesh pockets and plenty of extra webbing for max expansion. The Scout 30 works great as a standalone tailbag, a travel bag, or a pannier topper on hard boxes. We recommend our Backcountry cinch straps to secure it to your bike!
The backpack straps come in handy if you break down and need to hike out, or when navigating an airport or border crossing on fly-to-ride trips. They're also helpful when you need to get all your gear to an upstairs hotel room in a single trip. If you're not using the backpack straps, they either stash flat in an external pocket or can be removed entirely and left at home.
The Scout 30 Duffle includes a unique beavertail with reinforced mesh zipper pockets on one side and 5 columns of Hypalon MOLLE webbing on the other, so you can expand and customize this bag with an assortment of optional MOLLE accessories like fuel bottle holders or a hydration sleeve. The beavertail also provides a convenient place to tuck a jacket during the day, or to store wet/dirty things like a rainfly, tarp, or towel.
The Scout 30 has side cinch strap pass-throughs (we recommend our Backcountry Cinch Strap) so you don't have to worry about your bag squeezing out to the side of the bike in bumpy terrain. The Scout also includes a comfortable, padded shoulder strap that stashes away under the beavertail or inside the bag when it's not in use and there are two easy-grab carry handles, one on each side of the bag.
The Scout Duffle also includes a 20L seam-sealed Drysak, so you can keep dirty/damp clothing, shoes, and other items separate from the rest of your clean/dry belongings.
Want to protect your Scout Duffle and gear from thieves? Add one of our Steelcore Locking Straps. The Scout Duffles (both sizes) require a single 4.5' strap. Mounting instructions can be found in this video.

"This bag is great! I use it as a tailbag on my 1090 on top of an AltRider Rear Luggage rack and it's a perfect fit! It's the perfect size to hold darn near everything I need for a ride into work or an overnighter into the forest. Super well built, dry (and that's important in the PNW) and as a bonus - it works great for a backrest when loaded up for my pillion! This bag checks all the boxes and then some. Get one!"
I have BMW R1200 GSA with the 3 OEM aluminum panniers with the OEM liners/carry bags. During my 7 week trip in March 2020 all over BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO I didn’t like that I had to pack & unpack every night. For my June 2020 trip to TX I decided to buy & try the 30L Scout duffle. I pack all my overnight & short term clothes/gear in the duffle; have other clothes, camping gear etc. in the panniers and in the top box stuff, food & drinks etc. I need quick access to. On this recent trip to TX I would leave the 3 aluminum boxes locked and on the bike and only take my Scout duffle inside for the night. Worked great. The quality, design & functionality is great so I ordered immediately some other MOSKO gear. Highly recommended.
I bought it to replace the Stinger 22 when I needed a little more space. I just used it on the weekend and used itself for all my overnight camping needs.
So glad I purchased it, now I have all the options I need and I know it has already been developed sand tested by riders before it is produced and sold to the general public. So I know all the R and D is already done and the bus ironed out.
I first used the new Scout Duffle 30 L on a 1000 miles ride from Salt Lake City Utah to Yakima WA. The features that were most important to me was the secure tie down spots, waterproof, large beaver tail, and molle for my pouches I use for quick access items. The duffle did all these things amazingly.
As with all Mosko products, great build quality & design. Large glove friendly buckles. Thoughtful inside pockets for small things. I only wish it had tie downs separate of the compression straps to keep it from coming loose when you need to get into it.
Was a bit “timid “ at first. It seems everyone is cashing in on the old guys like me trading racing for adventure! I did an Oregon ride last year, purchased a competitors product, it did fine. But there is always room for improvement. I ride a KTM 500 EXC , so I haven’t quite gone full potato on a full dress BMW R /1290 KTM. The scout duffle is a very well engineered pack. Was very stoked on the “beaver tail” . It’s my new tail bag! I also read your story, and have been to two of your live online meetings one with my boy Destry Abbott. You scored big points with me even though you aren’t born and bred from the racing industry y’all seem to embrace it as well as all riding in general. Keep the front wheel up!
