Once you separate the armor from your outerwear you begin to look at things differently. We found our jackets spent more time rolled up on our bikes than on our backs. We love the feeling of riding in a jersey, but at times it left us feeling a little exposed. Enter the Workhorse. This rough and tumble jersey combines breathable comfort with rugged durability. The polyester mesh is combined with stretch Cordura® abrasion panels over the primary impact zones to increase abrasion and snag resistance for those close calls and unexpected dismounts.

Complete change-up
After colliding with a guardrail resulting in a broken ankle and a slashed bicep, I decided to change up my gear from integrated jacket and pant armor to next to skin armor and layered abrasion protection. The Workhorse Jersey was part of this solution. I’ll be ordering Mosko Motos armored shorts and knee pads (once they have my size in stock). Still deciding on the Woodman Enduro pants. As I’m not yet back on my bike, I can’t fully review the Workhorse Jersey but it does appear to be made for both safety and performance.

Well made, super comfortable.
I bought one for my son and one for myself during a recent dual-sport trip in Arkansas. The jerseys worked great, they kept us cool and protected. My kid even had an off on a gravel road, and you couldn't even tell wear the jersey contacted the ground. Great stuff, 5/5.

Great despite a couple of issues
The jersey is great, heavy on the elbows and shoulders, but light through the back and chest. My only issue is that the first time I wore it, I got some issues with threads pulling. I sent in a photo and it was replaced easily and quickly

Excellent Balance Between Comfort, Protection, & Durability ![User picture]()
For most of my riding, I've been very comfortable wearing my Workhorse Jersey under my Forcefield EX-K Harness with it's chest, back, shoulder, and elbow/forearm guards. Recently, for the CHBDR-X, I started wearing my Workhorse Jersey over my Tech-Air 5 Plasma Airbag combined with Mosko Moto's CE-2 Elbow Protection; an even more comfortable combination.
