I only have had the opportunity arise once for me to use the trowel thus far, so take the review with a grain of salt. Do I think you really need this trowel? I’m a simple person and I’d say not entirely. You can use a stick, a rock, or your hands to dig a hole, or in a “pinch” you could just deuce on the surface. That being said, I love this thing and I would buy it again. 5/5. Why? Mostly function but a close second is cool factor. It does work great for digging a hole, and I like the when people ask me what is on my forks and I say my poop shovel. It weighs next to nothing, it’s never in your way on the forks, and if you need it you’ll have it.
