I was five years old when I started riding motorcycles and my memories are of riding motos before I rode a bicycle. I recently asked my dad and his response was “yes, that would be accurate”.

I was five years old when I started riding motorcycles and my memories are of riding motos before I rode a bicycle. I recently asked my dad and his response was “yes, that would be accurate”.

I grew up in Southern California and spent every weekend in the desert riding with my family and watching my dad race.  I started on a Honda 50cc mini bike and upgraded cc’s every year or so. My dad was always upgrading and buying bikes and my brother and I would land on whatever fell down the line as our next ride.  My favorite bike was an Enduro, a Yamaha IT175 I affectionately named “Daisy”.  I wish I still had that bike. My parents moved our family to the PNW when I was 11. We lived in a rural area; all there was to do was build tree forts and ride motorcycles.  My brother and I would ride for hours, creating our own trails and courses and pretending we were who knows what. I loved being on a motorcycle. It was a freedom and experience that has never left me.

After flying the coop, I got married and got busy raising a family. I have three amazing children that I am very proud of.  Motorcycles took a backseat for a while, but every time I visited my parents, I would hop on a bike and take a spin.

In 2012 I jumped on a friend's street bike and rode it “around the corner” my heart sank. I was hooked all over again. Within hours I was on Craiglist and landed on a 1990 Honda XR 200.  I quickly outgrew that bike and have continued to expand my motorcycle repertoire and presently possess a KTM 890R a KTM 790R, Husqvarna FE501.  You might say I have a problem.  Shortly after the arrival of my 790, I discovered two things: Moto Camping and Mosko Moto. It was love at first sight.

My other hobbies include but aren’t limited to snowboarding, skiing, paddle boarding, fitness, and music.  I tinker on my motos and do most of my upgrades and maintenance.  Most of the time I am successful. My friends call me “crazy Amy”. I am passionate, energetic, and a free spirit. Motorcycles have channeled all that crazy energy into an adrenaline outlet. It is where I feel at peace in this crazy and wonderful life. It’s where I want to be. You could say it feeds my soul.  I am beyond thrilled that I have been able to combine my passions and work with this company that I have been obsessed with since I met ‘em.  I am stoked to be part of this incredible team and can’t wait to see where this adventure takes me.  I’m more than ready for this ride!
