The Alpine 60L Rackless builds on the design ethos of our Reckless 80L and Reckless 40L bags, with three-bag organization mounted to a highly durable CURV® composite harness, allowing universal mounting on dual sport and ADV bikes, with no need to add a rack. The A60 forgoes the ballistic nylon of our Reckless series, opting for lightweight 420D Ripstop N6 outer bags, with seam tape construction and DWR treatment for added water protection. The 100% waterproof rolltop design allows compression and expansion for for loadouts that expand and contract over the course of a trip. The stiffness of the CURV® harness material significantly reduces movement of the bag, adding more stability for technical off-road riding. This is the latest iteration of our CURV® harness design, which includes a laser-cut rear fuel fill cut out, allowing easy access to rear tank fills on bikes like the 690/701 or Kove 450 Rally. 

The A60 features removable internal tote bags in each leg and the tail bag, allowing you to quickly remove your packed items when setting up camp. The totes are made from waterproof 70D C0 ripstop nylon with taped seams, providing an additional barrier between your gear and the elements. This also allows storage of water / fuel bottles and dirty gear at the bottom of the leg bags, while keeping your sleeping bag and clothing separate in the tote. 

The 15L tail bag mounts via four SJ buckles to the center of the CURV® harness, with a rear-facing rolltop opening that allows quick access for frequently-used packed items, like a rolled up jacket, or mid layers. The tail bag removes easily and features a convenient carry handle for transport to your tent.

Weighing 8.2 lbs total, the A60 is a minimalist, waterproof rackless luggage system, designed for riders prioritizing weight savings and simplicity, for increased ride performance in technical riding. The universally mounting rackless design allows quick swaps between bikes in your fleet, and can be airline-checked fully packed for an international fly-to-ride trip. When disassembled, it fits conveniently in a roller luggage system, like our Mule Gear Hauler.

• Exhaust heat damage is not covered under warranty. Please use the included heat shield, and follow the installation instructions carefully.
• KTM 690, Husqvarna 701, and GasGas 700 customers: The stock exhaust on these bikes runs VERY hot. Even with careful heat shield use, melting of the bike's plastics and the luggage can occur on these bikes specifically. Consider the Arrow brand aftermarket exhausts, available from Rottweiler Performance.
• Africa Twin customers, please note that the passenger grab handles found on the 2016-19 Africa Twin models may inhibit the fit of the Reckless 80L on the tail of the bike.
• On dual-exhaust bikes or bikes with especially high/exposed pipes, you will need a second heat shield, available for purchase in our website's Hardware & Parts section.
• Contact between soft luggage (no matter how soft) and your bike's plastics or painted surfaces will cause cosmetic wear to the bike over time because accumulated dirt is abrasive. If that is important, try applying a clear protective film (like Allstar Performance Tape or 3M Polymask Protective Tape) to your bike.
• Different bikes and installation approaches present different wear points to the CURV® harness. After installation, go for a short test ride, then check for wear points. Adjust the harness position, file down sharp rack edges, or apply a sacrificial wear patch as needed. Continue to check for high-wear points over time, but remember that the harness is made to take a lot of abuse. Some visible wear is normal, and in no way does it affect the strength or waterproofness of the luggage.

The Alpine 60 is designed to fit a wide variety of motorcycles – from small enduro-style bikes up to larger adventure bikes.
