The Scout 50L Duffle is a single-layer, welded-seam, roll-top drybag - but not your average drybag. We went back to the drawing board and completely revamped the duffle, loading it with every moto-specific feature we could think of. It quickly converts to a comfortable backpack, or an over the shoulder duffle, the choice is yours. A key feature is the rugged and fully removable beavertail stash spot, complete with two reinforced mesh pockets and plenty of extra webbing for max expansion. The Scout 50 works great as a standalone tailbag, a travel bag, or a pannier topper on hard boxes. We recommend our Backcountry cinch straps to secure it to your bike!
The backpack straps come in handy if you break down and need to hike out, or when navigating an airport or border crossing on fly-to-ride trips. They're also helpful when you need to get all your gear to an upstairs hotel room in a single trip. If you're not using the backpack straps, they either stash flat in an external pocket or can be removed entirely and left at home.
The Scout 50 Duffle includes a unique beavertail with reinforced mesh zipper pockets on one side and 5 columns of Hypalon MOLLE webbing on the other, so you can expand and customize this bag with an assortment of optional MOLLE accessories like fuel bottle holders or a hydration sleeve. The beavertail also provides a convenient place to tuck a jacket during the day, or to store wet/dirty things like a rainfly, tarp, or towel.
The Scout 50 has side cinch strap pass-throughs (we recommend our Backcountry Cinch Strap) so you don't have to worry about your bag squeezing out to the side of the bike in bumpy terrain. The Scout also includes a comfortable, padded shoulder strap that stashes away under the beavertail or inside the bag when it's not in use and there are two easy-grab carry handles, one on each side of the bag.
The Scout Duffle also includes a 20L seam-sealed Drysak, so you can keep dirty/damp clothing, shoes, and other items separate from the rest of your clean/dry belongings.
Want to protect your Scout Duffle and gear from thieves? Add one of our Steelcore Locking Straps. The Scout Duffles (both sizes) require a single 4.5' strap. Mounting instructions can be found in this video.

Product Creation at Mosko is an effort born of necessity. Everyone on our team rides – and time on the trail translates to an innovative, always improving product line. Crafting gear that will outperform in even the most harsh riding conditions means we make no compromise, ever.
"This bag is great! I use it as a tailbag on my 1090 on top of an AltRider Rear Luggage rack and it's a perfect fit! It's the perfect size to hold darn near everything I need for a ride into work or an overnighter into the forest. Super well built, dry (and that's important in the PNW) and as a bonus - it works great for a backrest when loaded up for my pillion! This bag checks all the boxes and then some. Get one!"
hello to all, the storage of the straps to transform the bag into a backpack on the back part is not practical at all. No waterproof interior storage for passport or other administrative documents) in the event of a fall and immersion in water.
the thickness of the canvas is not important enough. not reinforce enough on the back to anticipate wear and friction.
AT the price of 194€ with shipping costs, I expected much better.
moreover no strap is provided!!! so many findings that highlight commercial choices that favor the profitable market at the compromise of presenting a product that wants to be top of the range. You have to review your approach in order to satisfy the clientele.
by buying MOsko I thought I had the guarantee of a very resistant product. This is not the case.
good adventure to all
Scout 30L Duffle
Thanks for the 5 stars! :-)
I bought the 30l duffle and it a great bag and just what I need. I do a fair amount of travelling covering allot of distance and this bag is a welcomed addition. This is my third bag from them.
First off, thanks for being a return customer. Second, we're glad to hear that the Backcountry 30l Duffle has been a welcome addition to your travels.
I’ve been on a few trips now with my backcountry 35 panniers and scout 30 duffel. They have all the space you need to set up a great camp site. They’re very well thought out and it’s obvious their designer has spent time traveling on a motorcycle especially offroad. I’ve dropped my bike on the bags at least 100 times riding through sand, gravel and river beds and they didn’t even get scratched. I’ve been through trees, and bushes brushing up against them and they’ve been surprisingly durable. Eventually a branch caught the edge of an outside strap and ripped it off, surprisingly the only damage was to the stitching coming undone, no holes in the bag its self. I emailed Mosko (on a weekend) not even an hour later they had responded with instructions on how to send it back for repair. I was not expecting such fast response from a customer service these days. Since sending it for repair (which I didn’t know they do through warranty even on crashes) they’ve kept me up to date with the status etc… so not only the best bags (and I’ve had many, like the Kriega brand which doesn’t even come close to Moskos quality even though they’re very popular) on the market, but great pain and frustration free customer service! Next I’ll be getting some kind of tank bag, and why would I ever look anywhere else. Thanks Mosko people!
Scout 50L duffel bag. I am very impressed with high quality manufacturing. I also purchased the tie down straps, innovative and strong. I would strongly recommend Mosko products.
